Summer is in full swing! What better way to beat the summer heat than whipping up some of your very own summertime classics in the kitchen?
Ditch the crockpot and step away from the grill... This Green Stick workshop will show you what to scoop up at your local farmer's market this summer to prepare a perfect meal for you and your guests that won't weigh you down.
We are excited to have the Chef Jason Gilfour and Director Gaye Sandoz from the LSU AgCenter Food Innovation Institute, known as FOODii, guide you through this workshop with some fancy tips and tricks to help you feel like a pro!
Participants will follow along with our instructors through the steps of creating a seasonal salad with homemade dressing and a surprise summer dessert. The workshop will conclude with a final tasting of your creations during an open Q&A session.
The cost of materials is covered by ticket cost. In-person tickets are limited.
