June Reflections in the Garden

Topic: Longue Vue: From Vision to Legacy

Longue Vue House and Gardens stands as one of Louisiana’s most celebrated intersections of design, horticulture, and cultural history. In this presentation, Executive Director Stella Baty Landis will explore the garden’s original vision, the evolution of its horticultural design, and the ways in which Longue Vue continues to adapt its landscape practices to fulfill its mission today. Attendees will gain insight into how thoughtful stewardship, biodiversity, and intentional design preserve the legacy of this iconic New Orleans landmark while supporting a modern, community centered purpose.
